Actor Cate Blanchett totally looks like “Cat Blanchett”
Submitted by Elfi
Spot on!
My English teacher had a bumper sticker that read:
“Cat: The other white meat.”
Was your English teacher from China or the Ozarks perchance?
whats ur problem spot on, are u afraid of a little kitty-cat? ure pathetic…
I think the cat is an Abyssinian.
Nope. Some other type Oriental. Judging by the shape of its face.
Isn’t that redundant? It’s Cat Blanchett *because* it looks like Cate. That’s like saying “Wow! Those identical twins sure look alike!”
I agree entirely. If you’re gonna post something like that, post it the other way around.
Yeah, but if you said, “Cate Blanchett looks like… A Cat” you’d be wrong, because she only really looks like that particular cat. I guess you could say “this cat” but it would sound weird.
Yeah, but you could say, “Cat Blanchett looks like Cate Blanchett” and it would make a little more sense.
lol circular reasoning
creative
OMG! Sheeeeeeeeeeeen’ is not Abbieeeeeeeeee
‘Actor’ Cate Blanchett totally looks like Cat Blanchett…hahaha…thats a definite gender and spelling fail.
Some of us are modern enough to have moved beyond gender specific terms for jobs.
Or would you rather be a commentress?
Actor is an occupation. “Actress” is an outdated, diminutive, one-off spelling from the past to indicate a female actor. Take away the insult, and we’re back to the occupation, male or female, which is actor. An actor is an actor. A female poet isn’t a poetess, she’s a poet. In the same way a female teacher is a teacher or a female chef is a chef.
There’s no fail here except your failure to escape the 19th Century.
Actually, a female chef is called a “wife”.
or sometimes a “mom”.
Crotchwaffle
Spoken like someone who’ll never have one.
never have what? a wife, a mum or a crotchwaffle
Do you take that chip off your shoulder to shower or anything? Or does it just stay there all the time?
it’s the same with doctors, just pointing that out
This one is pretty ridiculous and ruins the credibility of this site. In what way do these two look like one another?
Well, they do look freakishly alike. However I agree with earlier comments that this is lame because the only reason the cat is called “Cat Blanchett” is because someone has already noticed the visual similarity and posted it elsewhere, so it should even be on this site.
Here’s the story behind this:
When Matching Faces first got launched, I emailed them and said, “You should totally use the “Cat Blanchett” picture from ICHC!”
I got a reply that said, “I would, if I had it.”
So, being the accommodating person I am, I downloaded the picture from ICHC and emailed it. Then I got credit for it, which was unnecessary, because credit should really go to Agnes, whose picture it was in the first place.

Besides, it’s not about the name. It’s about lookig similar. Donatella Versace looks like a Muppet but the Muppet’s name isn’t Donatella.
Get over it.
It’s about looking similar to an animal that was already well-established as looking like Blanchett to begin with. This one and the Brimley one were funny when the animal was first posted on other sites. Pointing out that someone looks like an animal that’s got notoriety for looking like the person in the first place is rehashing an old joke backwards because someone’s too lazy to find a new one.
if you close your eyes and imagine they look very similar
I don’t see any resemblance whatsoever. Copying ICHC pictures (see: Dr Phil +Walrus) isn’t funny at all – we’ve already seen them (as most TotallyLooksLike.com users are probably ICHC patrons as well).
So in other words, if someone submits a picture of George Bush and a picture of a bush named George, it will make the site?
So anyone got a bush named George?
I think i’d be more careful in how i worded that. Wouldn’t want a picture of some guy’s crotch :s
Oh, I worded it properly
Perhaps Georgette, maybe…
Enough of the catty comments…
lmao that is so funny their names even sound alike
…totally looks like Kathrine Hepburn.
the cat looks tasty!
she’s still hot
Cat….target practice for my bow and arrow. Cate…..target practice for my laurles. MMMMMM, good cracker!
how old generally are people who post on this site? It is an innocent question, just curious.
Bonjour! The babes are here! This is my favorite site to visit. I make sure I am alone in case I get too hot. Post your favorite link here.
Looks more like Patrick Swayze to me.
