Oh, I totally agree. MAUS was unbelievable. I remember when my older son was little he wanted to read the “comic book” but I kept telling him no. He finally got hold of it and though he couldn’t read it, he knew it was not a good thing. He never asked to read any of my books again. LOL

And, c’mon, the premise behind the series is a Texas preacher infused with the angel-demon offspring entity called Genesis (empowering him with the Word of God), his on-again-off-again girlfriend/hitperson Tulip, and their pal Cassidy (a hard-drinking Irish vampire). They’re on a mission to find God and kick his ass.

Actually, Iggy Pop wasn’t so ugly when he was younger. All the Alchol and
Drug Abuse is what did it to him. I am ugly, but at least I am not shallow
or superficial like you sound! I have learned over the years of my life, that
beautiful people usually end up uglier than ugly people do when they get old!

*Shiver* “The Preacher: Gone to Texas” is one of the most disturbing graphic novels I’ve ever read.

It’s from the graphic novel “Preacher.” They must be making a movie version of it. It’s a guy who tried to commit suicide by shooting himself (in the mouth I guess?) but failed and that’s how his face healed.
