If you have to cheapen yourself and your message to get people to listen to you, you’re nothing but a marketing whore and everything you say is suspect of being another ploy to sell more albums. Tool never needed to make cheap, mass-produced music to gain a large audience. Neither did, to mention a current and large artist, Cee Lo Green, who’s got a great and unique style that’s instantly recognizable without being a cardboard copy of all his peers and predecessors.

When art becomes marketing it ceases to be art.

Umm..

Does no one see that Katy has a much sharper nose and more defined cheek bones? Not that I think she’s prettier, I like Zooey’s softer, more childlike face…but…it’s pretty easy to tell the diff. As long as the photos aren’t TOO photoshopped.

I agree with you, except for the bi-curious part. All of the things you listed as bad are in fact bad except fot that. Sexual orientation should not be a negative or a positive thing. It’s just a part of a person like gender or race.

They do look a lot alike! The hair does play a big role though, I agree.
Zooey Deschanel is a lot more unique and spunky. Katie Perry is nothing new or exciting.

All throughout (500) Days of Summer I kept saying “I know that girl, I’ve seen her before – who is she, who is she?!” Of course, it was Katy Perry I was thinking of, not Zooey Deschanel. Sad, I know, especially since Zooey Deschanel is better and more respectable.

Zooey’s chin is a tiny bit flatter than Katy Perry’s, Katy Perry is two inches taller, but basically outside of that they’re identical.
