Wow, there’s an awful lot of Skeet hate out there. That’s okay, while all the Depp fangirls are arguing over who gets to have Johnny attached to their headboard, I’ll just make off with Skeet. Bwaha. Johnny’s hot and all, but Skeet’s so much hotter it’s not even funny… not to mention infinitely more down to earth. I also love his voice. Soft, slow and soothing. Johnny’s voice is kinda harsh.

I am a major fan of Skeet Ulrich, don’t care one way or another about Depp. I do not see a resemblance between the two beyond the fact that they went for the same face hair style when they grew hair there. Depp is older, heavier, softer. Ulrich is tall, thin, beautiful. He has eyes that can melt people and when he smiles, even a ghost of a smile, one goes to gel. Depp is okay, Ulrich is hot.

This is so sad. Skeet Ulrich is an amazingly talented actor, but ends up being called a poor man’s Johnny Depp because they look similar. You know what? I’m a JD fan, but I’m sure if you put Skeet Ulrich in some of Johnny Depp’s roles, he would do an equally good job. They look equally hot IMO. Me, too. I think Johnny Depp rarely looks pleasant and almost always looks unkempt. I think Skeet is one beautiful hunk and the comparison is unfair to both. I suspect Depp is pleased with himself; I suspect Skeet is somewhat hampered by the vague thought that they are similar in appearance. Fact is, there is a gentleness about Skeet that Depp can’t produce and most women recognize the difference.

Skeet Ulrich in 2009 is waaaay better looking than JD who is now officially old. Skeet is a foot taller and handsome. JD is like DiCaprio, he is like an aging teenager with grundy teeth. JD is all hype. He is good at playing the caricature characters like Sparrow, but in realistic dramatic roles he is average at best.
