Yeah…that movie was okay, bu I know that if they decide to do Death Note than I will dress up as L and go see it! :p

Well LABB is unlike L: Change The World. L: Change the World is basically a spinoff of the Japanese Live Action movie, where it loosely follows the manga/anime.

But in LABB, the information is consistent with the manga/anime and shows you how the Los Angeles BB Murders happened. Remember when L stated that Naomi Misora worked under him before she died? Yeah.

PLus, I think that was one of my favorite stories too.

Well, if there is, i’m definitely going to watch it!
It’s just like the new Avatar movie. I don’t think the actors suit the characters, but, i’m still going to see it. :3

And even though the LABB book was just a spin off, it was still great, and i loved the way it was Mello narrating. One of the best books i’ve ever read. xD

Yes. It is not yet confirmed whether there WILL be a live action movie, but if they decided to go ahead with it, I will see it regardless of the casting.

HSM was a HORRIBLE film. (An hour and a half of pure torture if i’m honest. Not to mention the sequels. XD)

But, i guess it’d depend on how well he played the role, IF he gets to play it. ._.

Am I the only one who is willing to give this one a shot? It appears that the only reason Death Note fans are flaming him because he was in HSM (which was awful). From what I’ve heard he’s a good actor and is apparently a fan of the series. (like myself TEAM L! And Mello is a close second) I’m willing to overlook his HSM past and see the movie when it comes out.

Also, is anyone here a Beyond Birthday fan?

They look similiar, but hardly anyone looks enough like an anime character to be compared. It’s simply because one is flesh and blood(light), while the other is a drawing(Zac).

Lol no…Zac’s jaw looks broader when looking straight on and his eyes are alot smaller. Of course, Light IS an anime character, known for their larger then normal eyes. I bet I know what this is coming from though. That Zac Efron is going to be the Light Yagami in the American Adaptation of Death Note? I don’t think so…plus, it’s not comfirmed what the cast is going to be. I sure hope it’s good though…hopefully Warner Bros doesnt screw it up xD
