Actually, it’s a pretty good logo for them. The acronym is: Воздушные Силы РФ (Российской Федеращии), or “Air Force(s) RF (of the Russian Federation)” over the top and “Военная Разведка,” or Military Reconnaissance along the bottom. So, it’s sort of a theft of the Batman logo, but it’s appropriate for a unit of recon scouts who jump from airplanes and helicopters to do their jobs.

Actually the Russian MIA (Glavnoje Razvedyvatel’noje Upravlenije or GRU for short) came first, and the bat symbol used for Batman was taken from it. Not the other way around.
