Sam the Eagle was based on Sam Donaldson (the newscaster). So that’s pretty much a gimme.
Hmmm… I still say Brit Hume has more resemblance.
.. never heard that he was based on Donaldson
What the heck is with Calhoun’s neck-beard only style?
He looks like he just graduated from Mad-Scientists University. He’s got the crazy hair, shifty eyes, and lost his neck for the process.
That was, believe it or not, fashionable back then.
