I can remember maintaining that Gene Wilder was in Monty Python for YEARS! Then realising it was Idle.
incidentally Gene Wilder played Willy Wonka in the original movie and Eric Idle won a Grammy for the audiobook he voiced of Charlie and the Chocolate factory.
