Personally, I preferred the late Carolyn Jones, Morticia from the t.v. series. Clever actress and looked more like Charles Addams’ original drawings.

Cher actually auditioned for the part but they turned her down because Houston is a better actress
first off, its HUSTON, not Houston…. secondly… how many times shall we repeat that Cher ALMOST played the role?
They do look a lot alike but IMHO this is an insult to Anjelica Houston, who as far as I know comes by those cheekbones naturally……
