  1. Mary says:

Kinda makes you wonder if that played any part in the creation of the enterprise. Lol.

  2. catgirl says:

Wow, it really does look like a sink. This is hilarious. I’ll never watch Star Trek in the same way again.

  3. Not_you says:

this TLL is full of win. 10/10.

  4. Leland Dantzler says:

OMGosh, a TLL that is funny and doesn’t compare to boring people! YES!

  5. Angryhatter says:

    This TTL = Win

  6. Pete says:

    Geeking out in 3…2…1…

Why does that picture of the Enterprise have 3 warp nacelles?

  7. Senshi says:

Now this is the kinda thing TotallyLooksLike is for.

  8. BILL!!! says:

That’s not the Enterprise. That’s a Rigel class ship. Rigel’s were developed and deployed around the same time as the Enterprise-D which was a Galaxy class ship.

    /NERD

    • Bob says:

The future Enterprise-D from the finale “All Good Things…” did have three nacelles.
      /NERDIER

    • Neard says:

      Umm. Nope. Sorry. You lose.

The Rigel class was never modeled for cannon. There’s a model for it in Armada 2, made by someone else, that’s similar. But the Engineering section is shaped totally different (it’s based on Constitution, which is round, not oblong). Also the third nacelle was on the bottom, not all three on top. And models for other things look nothing like this.

It’s the “All Good Things” future Enterprise for sure. The nacelles are the same, and it’s got the big cannons on top, the ones that blasted right through the Klingon ships. (Think that’s what those are, haven’t watched the episode in a while).

So yeah, you lose your nerd label. For I am Neard, the uber-nerd!!!!!! Bwah-ha-ha-ha-ha!!!!

      • Hell Hath No Fury says:

I’m shocked that you, Neard, the uber-nerd, didn’t notice that if you’re at work, sitting next to a ridiculously good-looking co-worker, and you hold the soup spoons upside down, and fly them around a bit, they look just like the Enterprise, and I look just like I’m not getting a date.

        • Kerfuffle Monger says:

          Burn of the Week!

        • Neard says:

‘Cept the spoon doesn’t have warp nacelles, how’s it supposed to go at warp? Now if you take a spoon and a fork, tape them together with the handles overlapping, and cut out the middle two tines of the fork, it’s a bit closer.

Plus, I don’t have any ridiculously good-looking co-workers. And the ones decent looking are/were either taken or lesbian (and wasn’t just saying that either).

But otherwise, yeah, you’re pretty well right. I have no life, I have little personality, and I’m a total geek, nerd, and dork. It’s lonely, so lonely…

        • Jessi says:

Did you mean “and YOU look just like YOU’RE not getting a date”? ‘Cause it might be the alcohol talking, but that last bit of your sentence kind of didn’t make much sense – unless you meant to insult yourself. In that case, self deprecation WIN.

Also, why can’t the hot co-worker be into Star Trek as well and or just find that behavior quirky and intriguing? I don’t know if it’s just ’cause I’m a girl, but I’ve met many really attractive girls who are more into Sci-Fi than most nerdy guys I know…

      • Kris says:

The cannons were originally developed to deal with the Borg threat, but they did make short work of the Klingons in that episode.

        • Neard says:

Hmm. Actually thinking about it, I might’ve been wrong about the cannons. As I recall it was actually the main phaser bank, located above the deflector dish, taht did that. But still, those are on the AGT Enterprise.

        • Joe says:

WTF is that speculation based on?

      • BILL!!! says:

You know what? I fully accept your ownage on this topic. I did not pay close enough attention. +1 to you good sir.

        • Neard says:

Ah, thanks. Hope I didn’t come off ass-hatty. I meant it mostly sarcastically, not rude…but things like that don’t work well in text.

    • Ibbits says:

Having Galaxy Quest committed to memory makes this sub-thread all the more enjoyable.

    • pantz says:

Lol, I was going to say the same thing. You can tell because it has 3 nasals

  9. Birdgirl says:

Total WIN! First in a while!! :D

  10. Tribble says:

It’s a shame they never showed many bathrooms on the show. It would have been funny to show a sink like this as one of those secret little jokes.

Whoo hoo! More Star Trek! Thanks again Tofu and Cheeze!

    • Anu says:

Don’t you know that there are NO bathrooms on the Enterprise? Check the blueprints.

    • Moyaselene says:

      Can’t…resist…urge to be a geek…..any longer!!!!

Counselor Troi had a bathroom in her quarters. In that episode where they all de-evolve, Picard and Data return to find her hanging out underwater in her bathtub.

      • Kryolite says:

hey thats a good point but that was a bathroom. DID IT HAVE A TOILET. slightly weird that troi evolved mainly from a fish, i was always suspicious of her mother. FISH WIFE

  11. AngelMax says:

    Nice find!
    xD

  12. Kristen says:

That’s a backward TLL if I ever saw one. The Enterprise looks nothing like a normal sink. That ONE sink looks like the Enterprise.

    • WWWWW says:

Bahhhh…BAH I say! It may be a certain sink but FFS, it DOES look like it. Also, this TLL does NOT suck, which automatically grants it WIN status.
      :D

    • AnnaDraconida says:

You’re right. I have seen lots of sinks, and this is the 1st one that looks a bit like the Enterprise.

      • Invisicon says:

I think most of these TLLs are backwards; I just mentally read them the other way. But yeah, it’s kinda annoying, in an OCD way.

    • CottlestonPie says:

I’m all for being pedantic, but I don’t see where the caption claims that it looks like anything more than THIS sink. It looks like A Sink. This one. So the caption is correct.

  13. adam antichrist says:

    omg
this LOL has been assimilated by star trek fans
    somebody make them stop

  14. Kezra says:

I’m sure some man has gone there before…

  15. Jimmy Beaner says:

Dude that is one cool looking sink! Id have it!

  16. p says:

This pic is stolen from hijinksensue.com

  17. BUSHDOCTORAK47 says:

catgirl how you gonna watch star trek from now on?

  18. Joey Joe Joe says:

LOL not as funny as the rumor of the Obama rumor: http://tinyurl.com/6xvku7

  19. That is so funny. My goodness, it is dead on. Was the uy designing the Enterprise brushing his teeth when the idea came t him?

  20. oliver_sudden says:

Now THAT’S funny. My fave TLL so far.

  21. N. Palmer says:

There actually are bathrooms, or at least sonic showers, on 24th century starships in the Star Trek universe. I know there’s at least one or two episodes of Star Trek Voyager that show some sonic shower scenes (no, nothing R-rated =).

  22. bob says:

    Cool TLL picture.

  23. jugajoga says:

or a sink totally looks like the USS Enterprise

  24. ravedave says:

Engage the high-energy dihydrogen monoxide conduits, Data!

    In English:
    Run t’hot water!

  25. aaron says:

1: i think that sink was made to look like a federation starship
2: i dont remember the episode name but its when they get the virus that makes the feel like they are drunk that had run rampant on kirks enterprise(according to starfleet records uncovered by riker) when they search the ship and everyone is frozen some of them in a shower

  26. heathrow says:

That enterprise has a third warp nacelle… isn’t that an alternate future version or something?

  27. Xavier says:

Let me just say that whoever looks down at their sink at automatically thinks Enterprise needs to watch less TV >.>

  28. Polymus says:

Yay. The ship can wash your hands. 8D

  29. llc says:

    wonderful, well done!

  30. Fresh says:

Wow! never in 1000 yrs would I have made THAT comparison

  31. YES says:

    EPIC WIN.
