That IS will’s father morons. He was removed and replaced not only as actor but his character was removed and spun into a new series. Ferrels name rmained in the crdeits for awhile even though he was no longer in the show. Will’s father was a moron just as he is. Like father like son, in more ways than looks.

They have the same eye shape, jaw line and similar hair. I can see a little similarity in their smile. This one qualifies.

Wrong, Mashup. The actor that played Trapper in the M*A*S*H television series was Wayne Rogers. Will Ferrell’s dad is named Lee Farrell. Mike Farrell (notice the different spelling) was on M*A*S*H, but he played Captain Hunnicut.
