And before anyone labels be an Obama-hater. Frankly, I don’t like Obama. I didn’t like Bush, either. Really, most all politicians disgust me.

I agree that many people seem to think that just because I disagree with something, it’s only because I’m really a racist at heart, now that the president is not someone of my own ‘race’. (For the record, I don’t like to that there are really different races. There are people with different ancestors and cultural upbringing, but if you’re an American, you are an American. Stop with the racial bigotry, on BOTH sides.)

Obama doesn’t fit Yezhov’s syle. He’s more like Stalin, personality-wise. Phsychologically speaking, none of the three should ever have been let near large amounts of power. Lenin warned about Stalin before he ded, Stalin buried the letter. Yezhov used what power he had (and as head of the KGB he had quite a bit) but he was definitely subordinated and fearful of Stalin Obama, like Stalin, thinks that he can do no wrong, regardless of the cost. In Stalin’s case it was measured in terms of deaths. In Obama’s terms it is is the decline of the US economy. The end does not justify the means.

Really? Is that why the biggest political party in the Netherlands wants our drugs policies overturned. That political party happens to supply the current prime minister.

You can see below that the above picture of Ezhov was not made up. Actually, the picture is interesting — Stalin is posed like Napoleon and Ezhov like Hitler.

Considering that Stalin was not very tall (5’6”), you can guess how tall Ezhov was. Any way, under Stalin’s command, Ezhov was responsible for over 680,000 executions and many more deaths of people he sent to the Gulag. He set quotas for each region (oblast) for the number of daily executions. It didn’t matter if the condemned guy had done anything. He’d get a call to report to the People’s Commissariat of Justice (or whatever they called it) and told to sit outside of an office and wait. After a while, somebody would come out of the office and say, “Citizen, you have just been condemned to death …” Two soldiers would appear; take the guy out to the courtyard; and BANG! No indictment, no defense, no appeal — and the guy would never know why he was being killed — it was the quota.

He was responsible for the deaths of 27,000 Russian military officers — which didn’t help Russia when WWII started.

Ezhov fell out of favor with Stalin — probably because Stalin never kept any of his people around who knew where the bodies were buried — and was executed just before the war. KGB head Beria was the luckiest — he made it until Stalin died; then Khrushchev knocked him off.

With all the czars that Obama has in his administration — and there could only be ONE czar in Russia — I wonder how many of these are actually commissars.
