My point was, if two things look similar, you usually say that whichever came second looks like the one that came first. I’ve never seen anyone look at a parent and say, “Wow, you look just like your child.”
Well, what I am saying is that you are really focusing too much on the grammar, and too little on the fact that it’s kinda funny. (Which is funny in and of itself.)

Incidentally no you don’t always say them in the order of what came first. If your grandma looked like Keira Knightley you’d probably say “Grandma looks like Keira Knightley” not “Keira Knightley looks like Grandma”.

I was at a software store today and had a real life TLL experience. Someone had stocked the Warcraft Expansion “Wrath of the Lich King” right next to the LOTR expansion “Rise of the Witch King”.
The artwork is as similar as the name. A character in grotesque armor brandishes a serrated sword in a similar manner.

I watched “Underworld” for the 1st time last night, then saw this today. =D
Not THAT bad–would rather watch this mindless fluff than, say, “Hellsing” (mmm, pleather)–but still stupid.

It’s not necessarily “ripped off”. Directors, producers, and even actors frequently make references to other shows and movies that they appreciate or enjoy in their own works – in this case they probably said “Hey, I like Birds of Prey, and our main character has a similar Gothic feel, so let’s pay tribute to that fact and model our promotional image in the same way as Birds”.
