And rightly so. These bottles are identical (except for color), most likely sharing the same manufacturing mold. It isn’t hard to ‘steal’ a mold by buying the product and re casting it into a new mold, though some detail can be lost.

Whoever did the caption on that perfume made a mistake. Sarah Jessica Parker does have a perfume named “Twilight”, but it is not this particular perfume that was released in association with the Twilight movie. It is a different scent entirely and in a different packaging. This perfume is mainly a collectors item for the shape of the bottle and packaging more than a useful perfume for what it smells like (IMHO).

This is not SJP’s perfume. She didnt create the ‘Twilight Fragrance’. She has a perfume called Twilight, but its not this one. It has nothing to do with the Twilight Saga. Why would she be involved in any way in the first place? Her money maker is Sex and the City. Anywho, this is completly retarded. Nina’s perfume was first and probably smells WAY better then the Twilight one. Though I do love Twilight, Im dissapointed that they would copy a design and think they could get away with it.

Whereas it is true Nina Ricci’s perfume came out first the truth is that Twilight is not the company marketing this perfume. The company that actually “ripped off” Nina is Hot Topic. Earlier this year they were given permission to distribute the perfume but it was Hot Topic who was behind complete ensembly and marketing.

Get your facts straight people. And they did it because there are people out there willing to spend money, so nothing wrong with that.

The Nina Ricci one has been out for about 3 years now.

I read the book. All four. And Midnight Sun [half online] and The Host. All six were awful. Harry Potter will always be better. And I CAN deny that it is the same target audience. Twilight is aimed at teenage girls, while HP was more aimed at the children-early teens.

Yes, the correlation probably has to do with the fact that countries where Malaria-carrying mosquitoes are common are also rather poor countries, where people aren’t in the habit of paying more for a soap that smells like something pretty, but rather one that does the job of getting them clean.

it’s shaped like an apple. Duh, the original Nina, by Nina Ricci has a sweet smell, as would an apple, which is probably why, other than the fact that it draws attention. Twilight is just stupid and totally copied the design on purpose hoping they would get away with it.

Oh and The Twilight Saga is actually just a series of good books. A very compelling story. I read them without any hype, out of sheer boredom, and fell in love with the characters.
