it looks like the lawsuit has settled and the new logo is in effect. It’s more of a 3 dimensional / 3-quarter profile. Still, there’s no denying that they used the exact same image (with added nostrils)

Oh come ON now. Can any two things be MORE alike? This shouldn’t even qualify for “totally looks like” — it’s in a copy-cat class all on its own. Where it SHOULD be, is on a site called Baltant rip-offs.com or something of that nature. This one isnt even funny, it speaks more about how the logo-designer for this school has no originality, OR shame.

And in fact a school needs to have permission from the team they’re using the logo from in order to use said logo.

The Panthers team here in GA (a highschool team for something…) used the same logo as the pro team on their gym floor without permission, and they had to have the whole thing torn up and remade.

1 is an older virsion and 1 is a newer virsion.
Go to NFL.com and look at the Denver Broncos…

The original Denver Broncos logo was an orange “D” with a much less stylized figure of a white bronco rearing up through it, facing right:

Actually if you go to the Breck Mustang website and look at the merchandise they sell at least the clock has this particular logo on it so though the first one may be the original Denver Bronco's logo it's been used by Breck for sure.

and the BSU bronco logo DOES NOT LOOK LIFE THE DENVER BRONCOS
just cuz the have a bronco as a mascot doesn’t mean they’re the same

you guys do realize that the logo MUST look the same, right? This is done intentionally so that the school does NOT get a lawsuit!

There are NFL laws, i would assume copyright laws for the logo, that state that college/highschool teams can use the logo, so long as it is not changed.

Had this school changed the bronco’s logo slightly, they would be sued. it’s happened before.

My boyfriend is from Boise and went to Boise State so when he moved down here he had a good laugh about not having to really change teams he supports cause it’s still the Broncos and still the same colors.

I’ve lived in Denver all my life and I SWEAR that first logo is the last logo the Broncos used before changing to their current logo. I’m not a sports fan, but some things are unavoidable in this town and the Broncos are one of them.
