1st!!! IT FEELS SO DANG GUUUD.

  2. meowcat2 says:

learn how to spell you douche. it’s good not guuud as you so put it.

    • Edocsil says:

Please capitalize your sentences, douche. It’s “Learn how to spell you douche. It’s good not guuud as you so put it.” not “learn how to spell you douche. it’s good not guuud as you so put it.” as you so put it.

    • in_a_box says:

Learn to use capitalisation and punctuation.

  3. Blarg says:

Ugh, what an awful premise for a movie (Wanted). For the bullets to continue curving, there would have to be a lateral force; the mere fact that the gun was moving or curving doesn’t cause the bullet to continue to curve. That alone prevents me from ever watching this farce of a movie.

    • BBB says:

True… except they weren’t shooting bullets in a vacuum. You ever watch soccer? Search “Roberto Carlos Free Kick” on Youtube. In fact, I used to have an air-soft pistol that shot pellets on a curved trajectory every once in a while.

But seriously, I’m just messing with you. I share the same feeling: I will probably never watch it because it looks ridiculous. But theoretically, it IS possible.

      • Czernobog says:

Yeah, but a bullet isn’t spherical, you can’t give it the sort of axial spin RC gave that (amazing) free kick.

        • BBB says:

You could if you were swinging the gun at about 1000 feet per second.

          • Phage0070 says:

Except that the movie zooms in on the bullets, and they are clearly not tumbling end-for-end. Even if you whipped the gun at 1000 FPS you would simply end up with an angled shot, not a curved one.

They should just admit it is magic, and that the movement of the gun is irrelevant. Sort of like Jedi; they don’t technically *need* to throw up a hand when using the force to move something but most do anyway.

    • horrorthorn says:

Or it could be the fact that it is a MOVIE and therefore not reality!!!! However Wanted did suck ass!!! It totally destroyed the original plot of the comic.

    • Crimson says:

Wow, I love how all of a sudden it’s tantamount to stupidity to enjoy a movie that expresses something fantastical. Who cares if it can’t happen in real life? Isn’t that the point of watching films, reading books, etc.?

      • Blarg says:

As far as I gathered from previews and friends who watched it, they’re not trying to say they’re mythical; rather, they’re trying to say they’re a modern-day group of assassins that trace their origins back many years. I seem to remember something about curving arrows, which just makes me /faceroll. So when a movie tries to play as if it’s modern day without an X-men sort of special influence (mutation), I expect their plot points to at least be believably bending the rules. James Bond getting shot at by 50 bad guys and never getting hit could *possibly* happen. Curving a cylindrical projectile spinning on a wholly wrong axis without any sort of telekinetic influence couldn’t happen, ever, and thus turns me away from the movie. Suspension of disbelief only goes so far.

        • horrorthorn says:

no, they have some power over time… So you’re wrong and they are trying to do something fantasy-esque

    • jamieyo says:

its been said that bullets have been curved before, but i agree

  4. me says:

Too bad Wanted was made after Juncture…

  5. Tianashen says:

Is Angelina’s arm really that thin? o.O

    • mazmania77 says:

i know i was thinking the same thing. she is super thin now. most of her sex appeal is gone in my opinion. but of course, i am a woman. ask any man and i’m sure they would still ‘do’ her.

  6. Delicatesther says:

Ugh, I guess someone read my comments at the last DVD covers that looked alike and said; ‘I accept your challenge’, and started to look for similar DVD covers. It’s sooooo easy, you’d be amazed.

    • vervain says:

Speaking as someone who has worked at a video rental store, I’m not at all surprised.

Speaking as someone who has also worked at a library, romance novel covers are even worse. Almost all follow the standard format of shirtless hunk + clinging babe w/mucho cleavage. I expect we’ll see some here eventually.

  7. lexi says:

Is it just me or are the hands the wrong way round?

  8. Katt says:

WOW Angies arm is seriously photoshoped to hell…it does not look right at all. and her thumb is FUBARD!

  9. Me says:

    Ugh, bad trigger discipline!

  10. jacob says:

This is a really good post, thankyou.

  11. stevie w says:

Exactly. Lack of ideas in movie making even extends to promotions and posters.

At least Hollywood recognizes they have competition (Bollywood) and maybe they’ll think of something new. ……maybe.

  12. Sarah says:

What is it with everbody here being a douche? So what if someone made a grammatical mistake in a post? I thought that this site is here to be funny, not to be a breeding ground for people being grammar nazis.

Seriously, your grammar skills do not make you internet gods. Get over yourselves and just enjoy the site.

    • skovsky says:

Actually I’m pretty sure being an internet god is directly tied to being a grammar nazi. The site may be for lol, but bad grammar is not. No matter what the context, if people need correcting, grammar nazis will correct them.

  13. bakedpotatoes says:

Since when did thumbs evolve to be shaped like that?

    • Beliar says:

I tried to test, it IS possible to hold your thumb somewhat like that… but it hurts a little bit ^^
I’m also not sure, how that would give any benefit while shooting a gun, but then again, I never bothered to watch the movie, so who knows? Maybe it’s some weird-ass “assassin”-trick to shift the ways of the universe to your will or whatever.

By the way, am I the only one finding the woman from Juncture far more attractive than Angelina?

Oh, another theory: maybe they photoshopped the thumb that way to show off the tacky tattoo some more?

  14. SouthernSheGeek says:

So, um, no one noticed that BOTH of these look like the Desperado poster?

Am I the only movie nerd on the internets? No, that can’t be right…

  15. Cynthia says:

Yep… That thumb has one weird shape… O___O

  16. nate xxx says:

    lolol awesome pettiness!!!

  17. factorial says:

Learn correct punctuation when correcting punctuation you douche. It’s “Learn to spell, you douche; it’s ‘good,’ not ‘guuud’ as you so put it.”

  18. bill says:

    i see

  19. :/ says:

ok, I’m confused. what was the first guy talking about?

  20. wibbie says:

    Thank you!

  21. xxbeinaxx says:

    i second that.

  22. alicia says:

damm calm down. i think they meant to put guud. and they probably knew how to spell it just didnt want to. as you see im making a lot of mistakes in my writting and i flat out dont give a sh*t soo…yeahh i think before u comment on how someone else spells you should worry about yourself(:
