  2. GoldStrikeMS says:

haahahaha one of a movie… the other… no idea

  3. panda says:

the real question here is, which came first? The manga would have to have come before the first HP book to claim the Snitch’s shape rightfully…

  4. SHAY says:

This one is kinda sad… really should be better TLL then this.

  6. hee hee says:

The Manga Series D.Gray-man frirst serialized in 2004

  7. Actually D. Grayman is a manga (and anime) that seems to be deliberately derivative (drawing from Full Metal Alchemist, Harry Potter, etc.), so the similar appearances are probably entirely intentional.

  8. Baconlube™ says:

    …or not at all

  9. schooly says:

So, like, you totally mean that the stupid manga thing looks like the Golden Snitch?

  10. Achi says:

I thought it was a sneetch. At least it is to Stephen King.

  11. kim says:

The first book of Harry Potter was originally released June 26, 1997 and the first movie was released in 2001.
The manga D.Gray Man was released May 31, 2004.

  12. Buckfutter says:

    Hmm… does’nt “snitch” mean like… female genitalia?

  13. dunno what are those, but looks like…

  14. Tylee says:

WOOO! somebody finally did this one!

  15. Ginny says:

So the Sneetch came first. Sneetch being (in Stephen King land) a ball harboring blades that flew at you, lacerated you with wicked sharp blades, then exploded with enough force to cause your body to be reduced to red jello.

Catch the Sneetch, Harry Potter! XD

  16. Scruffian says:

You totally look like a dork. For posting this.

  17. Carolyn says:

  19. miko-chan says:

yay DGM!!! tim is better cuz it can actually respond to people

    • Hooba says:

I don’t think Quidditch would be any better if the balls could talk. In fact I think the Snitch would be the one who makes snide remarks and talks really, really fast.

  20. Manganime says:

omg finally DGRAYMAN FANZ!!!!!!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!! ok im done now. funny pic, i noticed the same connection.

  21. Foufan says:

  24. rez says:

    and D.Gray-Man
As soon as I saw Timcampy I thought he looked lyk the Golden Snitch

  25. Jared says:

I am surprised that this one actually made it. If it was FMA or Naruto then yeah it would really help, but It took me a bit of time to find dubbed D Gray Man so this is weird. But I like it. WOO HOO ANIME!! Harry Potter is boring though.

  26. WTF says:

It’s funny when people knock Harry Potter. Obviously have nothing better to do that hate on something awesome to look cool. Maybe if you tried it, you’d like it.

  27. I am a teacher of German in an elementary school. At the beginning of this school year I began seeing Harry Potters books in my student’s hands. As the year progressed, I was noticing how reluctant they were to put their books down when I was starting class. They would stand up from the reading center in their classroom and read all the way to their desks. I finally decided two weeks ago to find out what these books were all about.I read the first book in 5 days, the second book in 4 days and I’ve just started the third book. I also just finished reading several hundred reader reviews here at Amazon.com. I simply do not see the harm in these books! My joy is that children are READING, children who before these books didn’t have any interest in reading. And when they finish the Harry Potter books they are continuing to pick up other books and read them.I teach in a school full of Southern Baptists, Catholics, Protestants, and other religiously-raised children. They are reading for the pure joy of reading, not because they are being drawn into a world of satanic rites and occultic rituals. None of my students have aspirations of becoming witches and wizards. These books are works of FICTION and they realize that!If we must, let’s look at the original versions of the Grimm Fairy Tales. Those stories were violent and blood-filled, often leaving the ‘bad guy’ killed in some gruesome fashion. Yet those are some of the timeless classics we now encourage our children to read.Let’s look past some of the ‘hidden meanings’ people are seeing in these books and rejoice in the fact that our children are READING!

  28. SamIAm says:

It’d be funny if the Snitch actually bit Seekers like Timcampy does when he’s mad xD I just noticed the similarities…I feel dumb. Of course I wasnt thinking about Harry Potter when I watched D. Gray-man, it’s just so awsome your mind is like totally controlled through the screen. You have no other thought then the pure sexyness that is the fictional character Allen Walker ~drool~
