  1. Natasha says:

No wonder kids are becoming sluts at a much younger age.

At least Barbie was at least slightly classy and didn’t have an oversized head.

    • Jane St.Clair says:

Barbie (although a feminist might argue objectifies women) had multiple careers. If a Bratz doll has a career it’s Paris Hilton.

      • Igloomccoy says:

        Math class is tough!

      • Lucy says:

I laughed out loud, perhaps to keep from crying. But it’s so true! They always advertise Bratz as like “Party Bratz!” “Karaoke Bratz!” “Cheetah Girls Bratz!” etc. I think Barbie can be one of the best role models, if mothers introduce them to their children properly (instead of telling their daughters – or sons – “Look, she can wear so many cute clothes!” perhaps suggest, “Look, she can be anything she wants to be!”). There’s doctor Barbie, teacher Barbie, fire fighter Barbie, I even had a military Barbie (given to me by my aunt, who was in the Army). They sound like better role models than the girls in the media’s spotlight, at least.

        • sarahbear says:

          well said

          • Igloomccoy says:

And now barbies come with tramp stamps. And I still hate their proportions and “Share a Smile Becky.” If she’s supposed to be accepted (she is in a wheelchair), shouldn’t she just be Becky?
            Lego FTW. Yellow people rule.

        • Jackie says:

I had astronaut barbie! She was cool. You could change her pants to a skirt, so after a long hard time on the moon she could go out dancing. lol

        • David says:

We must ask ourselves, who did Hugh Hefner score the most ass from, the Bratz doll or the Bunny?

        • A Concerned Person says:

Yeah, let’s introduce Barbie! “Look at how big her boobs are, honey. She can’t even stand on her own. Don’t you want to be just like her?” She sure is a role model, what can I say? And right… What’s better than army and wars? That’s what we want our children to do: go to army and have wars, right?

          • bunny says:

barbies boobs arent even really big, though.
            i think they’re quite small, actually O_o

          • Apple Addict says:

If You call those boobs big, then you really need to go out. As much as Barbie is concerned its a toy, most of my toys growing up couldn’t stand on their own. Barbie was everything and anything a little girl wanted to be from a teacher to an Astronaut. It was limitless possibilities.

As for the army it helps fight for your freedom when it’s needed, even then it’s there for your protection. Because otherwise you wouldn’t be sitting there on your computer or where ever your typing this from. Wars are a necessary evil sometimes and its better to look at all the possibilities of something before slamming a big ugly and bad sign on it.

      • Disser says:

I agree with Natasha!! And you know what else? The Bratz doll has less clothing than the Playboy Bunny. A shorter dress, at the least.

        • Crystal Kyuketsuki says:

Yes. This travesty proves what I have been thinking all these years about the horrible Bratz dolls.

    • Tornado says:

Can’t agree more. Barbie resembles a realistic woman. Bratz are, erm… cartoonish teens.

    • Julia says:

isntit funny how the Bratz dools seemed to copy Barbie, and even Polly pockets sometimes

  2. OneWay says:

a generation of skanks. where are all of the real women?

  3. Wulfen says:

I’m sure this is an insult to the Bratz doll.

  4. Sadie Thompson says:

    Um, yeah, actually. It does.

  5. Blue says:

Wow! They really do look alike! I’m starting to wonder if one of the bratz creators got the idea from Holly. But I think the bratz doll is prettier.

    • gr33nf41ry says:

Strangely, this doll popped up on the shelf at my local Target just weeks after the episode of Girls Next Door where Holly wears this was aired. I was so shocked! Now, whether it was designed after her, I don’t know. But I think it was anything but innocent, like so many of the other Bratz dolls.

      • Blue says:

Hmm, very interesting. Yes, it makes you wonder.

        • Kaye says:

Yeah. It makes ME wonder, why (if you don’t respect Holly and think she’s a skank) would you even bother WATCHING the show? I mean, I know this all started out as, “look at what these dolls are teaching our children”, but GROW UP PEOPLE! Honestly, if you are so against Bratz Dolls, or Barbies, or the Playboy chicks, OR WHATEVER IT IS YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH, then here’s a simple and effective tactic: IGNORE THEM. Like the school bully, someone can only hurt you if you let them do it. Now get fking lives, that don’t involve god damn lolcats. Grow up.

    • girl says:

prettier? she doesnt even have a nose!

      and MASSIVE MAKEUP ABUSE!

      • Chelsea says:

They accually DO have noses. If you’d work for one millisecond and look, you can see. it Might be tiny, but its still a nose.
I like bratz more. all of you are calling them “whore dolls”, but alot of their outfits DO have full, long dresses, etc. Children think of them as “pretty” not “sexy”. besides, after the lawsuit they’ll all be gone, (In feb. 2010) so why do all of you care?

        • Lacee says:

Ok i have had bratz for a while just simply cuz i kept getting them for christmas and i have never had on eiwht pants or a long skirt i even got bratz kids who looked skankier than holly!!

  6. Cecona says:

And here is the explanation why so many young girl’s think it’s alright to dress and ask like whores.

  7. lalala says:

woah. its sad, but the playboy bunny looks LESS slutty.

  8. Kmom says:

And this is why Bratz dolls are strictly forbidden in my house.

  9. Elfking says:

I used to think Bratz dolls were evil aliens come to Earth to take over. Now I know better.
They’re more like Chucky….A race of evil living dolls trying to take over.
The weird thing is…I’m not kidding…

  10. narmo says:

shes not a playboy bunny. she was just Hef’s girlfriend.

  11. At least Bratz make decent goth remakes if you pierce the heck out of them, make blood run….

    ….and it’s not murder!!!

That’s about the only difference. Really it is sad and I’m glad to say my daughter grew out of her bratz, never got into the stupid movies, and she dresses like a tom-boy!!!

  12. steelguy says:

    That is depressingly accurate.

  13. taylor says:

    whats the difference?
    i see two whores

  14. Whatever says:

And they are both made out of plastic!

  15. Dunk says:

Bratz may as well be called Whorez.

  16. Em says:

TOTAL PROOF THAT BRATZ R A BAD INFLUENCE TO YOUNG GIRLS!!!!

  17. SailorTaksu says:

will NOT let my kids have a bratz doll… wow the bandai people really know how to ruin childhood dolls

    • OPIE says:

I’m glad I have all boys! Not even the little one will play with a girl’s doll. To everyone with young daughters, take a stand and put the slut doll business out of business!

    • girl says:

exactly sailortaksu, it says the dolls are for ages 3 and up, but they are all…. ewww.

  18. Deen Soapz says:

    I KNEW it!

  19. Katie says:

Did anyone else have a giggle over “Bunny Holly”?

  20. Kinseth says:

I remember when it was a bad thing to be called a brat.

  21. Swanton Diva says:

Glad I’m having a son, not a daughter.
This is all kinds of wrong. O.o

  22. nichomach says:

…and this is why I will happily gouge the kidneys out of anyone who buys my daughter a Bratz doll.

  23. Richard says:

That’s pretty messed up. Disgusting actually. I’m very sex positive, but associating young girls with sex is sick, and it’s solely about the dollar bill. It’s not just about the young girls role-modelling off this, it’s also about continually introducing into young men’s and boys minds that underage girls are for sex. What we see, we be, so to speak. The sexualizing of young girls creates – in addition to the association between self and sexual objectification in girls – in boy’s and men’s minds that somehow sex with underage girls is OK. In our culture we are creating both sides of the problem in our sexual culture, in the girls and in the boys.

    • Ellie says:

      this.

    • Liz says:

      Well said, Richard. I agree.

    • Bratz fan says:

I agree with your point of view but bratz dolls aren’t sending this message out to little girls ok? Their clothes might be sometimes offensive but that does not tell girls it’s okay to dress like that. If they actually do think that bratz are a role model for them then i have to say their parents taught them wrong. I had a bratz doll when i was little and i turned out fine, its not bratz fault the world is turning like this.

  24. Mindy says:

Hilariously Sad, but true.. I think the playboy bunny looks less skanky too! Little girls don’t need to be playing with this? What are we teaching them really?!

Please people, keep your kids off bratz and other socially acceptable ways to make them a spoiled rotten human being.

I can’t wait to see this generation hit their 20′s… or can I?

    Woo, go Scientist Barbie!

  25. v says:

    That’s just so wrong.

  26. Amy says:

Barbie with a bikini has more clothing on than a Bratz Doll in a full outfit.

  27. Megan says:

    Not surprising.

I enjoy the clothing of the Bratz dolls now ONLY from a point of view like… Well… The one above. (Inspiration for fairly sexual outfits. Drawings, not real ones.) They’re not appropriate for kids. Seriously. When I was younger, I found them offensive.

  28. Geszt says:

God, that doll’s face is disgusting. What brainless idiot designed this for children? But the two outfits really do look alike.

  29. T_T says:

what are they trying to do to the minds of little girls?!?!

  30. Erin says:

ha ha ha! I knew it! I knew the bratz dolls were hos!

  31. Bored Amethyst says:

Not only are bratz dressed like slutz but they are given big heads, making the doll look like anorexic. I for one will never buy one for my nieces. So glad I have sons.

  32. kenzie says:

what’s sad is the playboy girl is less trashy than the bratz doll…

  33. Natasha says:

soooooo not true!!!!!!!! If u want to think that its fine but other poeple think so much more differently than u!!!!!!!! = ()

  34. Ar says:

Ok listen , Bratz is just more like the world today it is no longer the 50′s or 60′s or any of those years barbie is more of the older version of the world . While bratz is the younger version and thats why it beats barbie every year because they have more style then barbies little . ” The World Is A Wonderful Place Were We Dress Like Were 90 Years Old ” . The bratz is more of the 21 century okay :]

    • LizNlove says:

How old are you? No, really, you sound like a 14 year-old kid. And if Bratz dolls are an accurate depiction of the world kids live in today, then I can honestly say that I won’t be having children any time soon.

    • Bratz fan says:

I know right? Bratz aren’t sluts they are just more modern! Kids are not turning into sluts because of them.

  35. squishy says:

TLL is such enlightenment; Now everyone can actually know the truth: Play Boy Bunny costumes are modeled after Bratz Dolls.

  36. Wakko says:

More proof of Bratz turning little kids into sluts

  37. says:

A boneca da Bratz é linda, mas por favor é uma boneca!!!!!
    Realisaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  38. Sandra says:

Once I asked my daughter if she liked Bratz, she is 7. And she answered : No, they look like aliens, they have big heads and weird eye’s!

    All she wants are barbie’s!

    • Josie says:

My two girls, ages 10 and 13 now, never liked Bratz dolls. Perhaps they think there is something creepy about them.

    • Toxic says:

I know it’s a bit late, but it irks the hell out of me when people put unnecessary apostrophes in plural nouns. You said “aliens” and “heads” correctly, so why did you have to ruin it by putting apostrophes in “eyes” and “Barbies”?! THEY’RE NOT NEEDED.

  39. Anna says:

Bunnies wear the Bunny costumes and work at the Playboy Clubs. Holly isn’t a bunny, nor is she a playmate. Fail.

  40. Anna says:

that’s true…I Don’t find any problem with it i think its cute. No what i do think bratz dress like little sluts k but that’s not the reason girls are becoming little sluts. if the parents raise them rite and and make sure that they dress rite and don’t go around wearing and act rite wen they get older they will act rite its all bout how their raised. I played with them all my whole childhood and I’m doing quite good i dress rite I’m not really a hoe so ya i don’t think that there OK and people need to stop making such a big deal out of them k.

  41. littlelilyy says:

    anna you are so right!
yeah i used to play with bratz when i was little but i dont dress like a slut now.
its not the doll its how your raised
an i hate it when i walk down the street an i see young kids in high heels with there pairents i think its horrible to see young kids look like whores at about 5 years old!

  42. Heather says:

Clothes have nothing to do with whether your a whore or not!!! HAHAHAHA you may think they look like whores.
But that doesn’t make them whores.

Btw. Half the time I wear clothes that (according to your standards) are whore clothes. The other half. I dress incredibly conservative.

  43. del says:

i love holly she is my fav out of the 3 :)

  44. Jack says:

    What about this one ??

  45. Natalie says:

If Barbie were a real woman, her measurements would be 39-19-33, she would have such a small waist that she would only have half of a liver, and only a few inches of Kidneys, and her legs would be 50% longer than her arms (as opposed to the average 20%) She would suffer from chronic diarriha, and die of malnutrition and malabsorption. Until she died, though, she would be unable to walk. At 7’2″, and with a FF cup size, she would be so top heavy that she would be forced to crawl around on her hands and knees. With this said, I am afraid to even immagine what bratz would be forced to put up with, and that’s what young girls of today want. I know it’s what I wanted 7-10 yaers ago when I played with them.

  46. El says:

Personally, the fact that their FEET are removable (you change shoes by swapping entire feet) really creeps me out!

  47. Harley says:

Haha, that’s really funny and the simulairty is amazing.

  48. Jez says:

    B.R.A.T.Z.

    Bimbos
    Resembling
    Anorexic
    Teenage
    Zombies

or I guess they resemble slutty Playboy Bunnies lol ^_^

  49. Bratz fan says:

Bratz aren’t sluts! I know people may prefer barbies but bratz are just like them. Barbies are for little girls and bratz are more for like 8-11 year olds because they are more of fashion dolls not role model dolls. I agree some of the bratz collections may be a little misleading but i am sure that was not the creators intention!

  50. kladionice says:

Thank you for any other fantastic article. The place else may just anyone get that kind of info in such an ideal way of writing? I’ve a presentation next week, and I am at the search for such info.
