Soooo, has anyone else seen the South Park episode Chef Goes Nanners? Important points: the flag has white people hanging a black guy, and some of the kids don’t think it’s racist. Turns out they didn’t think it was racist because they just saw some guys hanging another guy, and didn’t notice the colors. This reminds me very much of that episode.

Here, here, Maddi! Thanks for bringing up scholarships. I was denied an African American scholarship, despite having been born and raised in Africa and obtaining my US citizenship. I guess that would make me about as “African American” as they come, right? So then why was my submission removed from the list of applicants? Because I’m not black. So it DOES go both ways.

It isn’t reverse racism if a black person is racist towards a white person, its just racism. That right there is a racist attitude, that white people are somehow genetically predisposed to being racist. Its all bunch of nonsense. And did you actually open with the term “whitey” and then accuse white people of being racist? The other thing is, i believe that some black people just blame their problems on oppression, such as being poor, having a diffiult life, etc. The fact is this: Life is difficult FOR EVERYONE. We are all the same. White supremeacy may not be something of the past, but it is no longer anywhere near socially acceptable, and you can’t deny that progress has been made. Racism is the most pointless thing you can do.

I’m completely against racism, but that goes both ways. You mention inner city schools, etc. How about scholarships restricted to african americans or native americans, etc. Racism goes both ways and needs to be completely removed from society. Boundaries need to be broken. PEOPLE are PEOPLE. I don’t think of people by their race. To me, our president is just another person in office, not a ‘black’ president but a president. People need to realize that.
