  4. hugo says:

edancoll i support your comment. This ain’t no Failblog material. Does anyone know what a pastiche is?

    FAIL!

  5. professor annoying says:

  6. pog says:

    parody !=fail

  7. Ehh... says:

See See! I’m telling you, post modernism has killed comedy! Here’s the proof!

  8. Mandy says:

It’s an album to parody Bad Religion’s 1988 record Suffer and they made the cover art to parody the Suffer album art. So yeah it’s supposed to look the same.

  9. GandWuser says:

    Parody. FAIL.

  10. Myke says:

From two of the greatest punk bands on earth, I’d guess this is a coincidence. Especially when Bad Religion is one of NOFX’s biggest influence (and of the whole punk scene, but hey, what do I know? :D )

  11. Clara says:

Bad Religion > NOFX any day, but this isn’t a TotallyLooksLike because it was done on purpose, trying to emulate a much more talented group. :P

  12. laura says:

NOFX did it on purpose. I do enjoy Bad Religion more than NOFX but it’s still funny and not at all surprising to see that the band who wrote songs such as “don’t call me white” and “clams have feelings too” did something awesome like this.

  13. London Smith says:

    NOFX=Bad Religion < MXPX < Comeback Kid

  14. London Smith says:

    Honestly…Fat Mike is a total a-hole.

  15. Fuzzsaw says:

    “NOFX=Bad Religion < MXPX < Comeback Kid"
wow… MXPX < Kick in the balls
Let us know when your hearing returns. Good luck!

  16. MRBHV says:

I think maybe, just maybe, they did that on purpose.

  17. askungen01 says:

oy… yeah are there really so few look alikes that we need to post what amounts to clip art?

  18. Tim Harrod says:

Also, George W. Bush totally looks like Will Ferrell when he’s made up to look like George W. Bush and doing an impression of him.

  19. SKW says:

I think the worst part is at first glance I thought it was a guy in a banana suit.

  20. Di says:

That just makes me sad :(

  21. georgie says:

this is stupid, why don’t we just post every parody ever and call it a look-alike. *rolls eyes*

  22. mark says:

    One word: DUH!

One is a parody and/or tribute to the other. Not a random lookalike. What a stupid submission.

  23. Sandbullet says:

I really want to smack the person that made this.

  24. Torak says:

Yeah, there’s no point to this. That’s like saying Will Farrel, while parodying George Bush, looks like George Bush. Sorry dude, 1 star.

  25. jakjawagon says:

The first one looks more like ‘suefer’ to me.

  26. Alex says:

    lol have both records here

  27. Bora Bora says:

More like Surfer and Sufferalbums look like burning PiP-boy. And since fallout happened in the 50´s, they are both fail!

  28. Pete says:

They are both on the same label BTW!

  29. fatty says:

fat mike and greg graffin are friends and were hanging a whole bunch when NOFX printed surfer. bad religion and nofx are both the kings of punk and only young kids hate one or the other. check out coaster, they are still one of the most punk out there.

    • Hoopy Frood says:

“Only young kids hate one or the other”? What about people who grew up during that era and simply don’t like their music?
Even my dad listens to Bad Religion, but he’s not so hot on NOFX.
Me, I’m more of a Sex Pistols guy.

  30. Duke Oliver says:

Just a parody NOFX made of Bad Religion’s “Suffer”

  31. Deadflagblues says:

Surfer is supposed to be a parody of Suffer…it’s not surprising that they look alike, since it was on purpose.

  32. Chordus says:

Note: Surfing is done in beaches. Suffering is done in suburban neighborhoods.

  33. ManCaveNevin says:

smashley=14 year old fat “punker”chick whose obviously had a bad date-rape situation with her ex-jock boyfriend after a “Sweet Kegger”.Nofx is a punk band with a sense of HUMOR! Whether or not this is funny is a completely different story.Listen to any of their albums and you’ll understand why this should be funny…..

  34. ManCaveNevin says:

    Steve=Giant D-bag

    WIN!

  35. Skeez says:

if one more person puts up another look-alike that were INTENDED to loo alike in the first place, im going to the nearest 7-11 with a wooden spoon and im going on a bloody rampage

  36. Maxaxle says:

It’s an obvious parody! Same font, same basic picture, and the words are nearly the same!

  37. Cats says:

Bad Religion, Rancid, and NOFX are all very close.
    They work together.
NOFX even has a song called “I’m a huge fan of Bad Religion”

  38. Batman Returns says:

The fact that both are punk bands makes me think that nofx was making fun of it…..both are great bands

  39. Zombie Clo says:

yea duh, it was kind of the point for these to look alike. nice try though

  40. ironscythe says:

All you need to do is look up the Surfer album on Wikipedia. It was intentionally parodying Suffer. Even the lyric sheet is the same.

  41. Brian Eason says:

methinks irony is completely lost on you people…

  42. KB says:

Why cant ppl be original… at least a little?

  43. Mack'n says:

Wow, they do kind of look alike. The way Weird Al’s song “Eat It” sounds like “Beat It” by Michael Jackson…hey, and they even have similar names!

  44. lol says:

    Totally on purpose by NOFX!
for u who dunno, NOFX is a old punk band with only crap in the lyrics.
    awesome…

    • Moorsy says:

I presume you’ve never heard anything they’ve made in the past 9 years then, or at least never listen to the words.
It’s well known that the people in NOFX and Bad Religion get on like a house on fire…

  45. mike flood says:

have any of you turkeys listened to nofx.
cause there surfer is a joke on suffer.

  46. Mandi says:

It was a PARODY. Jeebus people.

  47. Guest says:

I like Take That. Is that suitable for this forum?

  48. Axel says:

    omg u fail :|

  49. Naru says:

NOFX stuff is supposed to look like the band they’re making fun of. Surfer is supposed to look like Suffer. Duh.

  50. anon says:

That was the point of NOFX making that album cover…

  51. Woofsis says:

NOFX made the cover first. Then Bad Religion did a parody kinda thing to it.
I should know. I did a project on the song ‘Suffer’ in school.

  52. CatKatastrophe says:

Um, I think that was the point, really.

  53. 0xym0ron says:

    SUFF’S UP, DUDE

  54. Steampossum says:

Intended or not, this is just further proof that NOFX are sellouts to the Nth Degree. :V

  55. adam says:

NOFX did it on prupose. Its only for fun

  56. Andrew M says:

Clowns, NOFX grew up wit bad religion as their heroes, when they became big in punk rock they became friends with bad religion, they released the Surfer EP in homage to BR’s Suffer. they even wrote a song “I bought suffer, then I bought a thesaurus.. these days we hangout on eachothers tour bus’ because those old men know how to have fun!”

  57. Skeez says:

hey tardburger: the site isnt for intentional look alikes
