I’m forever laughing at my teenage daughter when she thinks the classic version of a song is the cover of a band she is more familiar with. She has only recently become aware that even the Beatles recorded hits with covers of other artists’ material.

The Cynics-Record is a 7″-Single from the early 9T´s with a coverversion of “Buick Mackaine”, a T.Rex-number. So the cover is obviously a hommage (like cover-version)! I like the coverversion, guess nobody else around here hasn´t heard it! Saw the band a couple of years ago here in germany and they were still a good band.
