I’d say Mustaine/Friedman/Burton/Belladonna/Lombardo would have been the definitive thrash metal band. Great vocalist, the best riff writer ever, one of the best bassists ever, one of the best drummers ever, and an excellent soloist. Should work…

Say what you want about either band, but you can’t deny their spots in history. They’re like Pantera, Slayer or Testament. That being said, I think Dave’s a much better consistent musician when compared to that other band. Sure, Risk totally sucked, but I’d rather listen to “Breadline” than the blabbering of “St. Anger.” United Abominations vs. Death Magnetic? There’s a clear difference. I’m picking Dave.

Okay, so I LOVE LOVE LOVE Metallica. One of my fav bands. I’m not a huge Megadeth fan, but i can definitely listen to em. Both bands are very talented. And Raven Blackblade said it best. Why are the fans continuing the fued? Both bands are huge in the metal world. They don’t care anymore. They are all succesful, and great talents. And if you say Megadeth sucks, just becuase you like Metallica, or vice versa, your a musically illiterate douche bag.

Megadeth is just sooooooooo much better
than Soldouttica.
The first few albums Metallica did were great (RIP Cliff)
(I’ll give them up to the black album…),
but then they lost the edge completely. Lars made
me want to punch him in the mouth. (I’m a 110 lb chick…)
Dave is one of the few hot ginger dudes alive.
