Whoa…
creepy
One of the better TLLs I’ve seen in quite a while. Good job.
I agree! Original.
Definitely! And Ed Norton is in both pictures, might have been his idea.
second that!
Gee, wonder if it’s a reference.
This was probably on purpose…
Probably so. Part of the reason they cast Norton (they also looked at other actors like Sean Penn) was his performance in Larry Flynt. They also admitted to sprinkling references to other films that the actors had been in throughout the movie (The People versus Larry Flynt was eveen put on a movie marquee in a background shot, though it isn’t really visible on film).
Still, though, damn good eye to catch this one.
huh… interesting.
well done
This is phenomenal film making. I approve.
Wow, the person posting this has a great eye. Creepy indeed! Nice look-alike. It’s about time we had something worthwhile and nicely done!
This must be an Easter Egg that was done on purpose. Probably nobody had found it until recently. I wonder if the poster discovered it himself?
I’m the poster, I discovered it myself 5 years ago.
Never found a good place to put it.
I thank people on Edward dash Norton dot org for having the screencap, but I don’t know why they didn’t notice first.
Wow… That is crazy.
Is The People Vs Larry Flynt good? I haven’t seen it.
Yes it’s very good. Woody Harrelson and Courtney Love are shockingly good.
Two people standing next to each totally looks like two people standing next to each other?
Aww, Jimmy lost his glasses
Exact same camera position, exact same clothes…
not to mention 1 of 2 actors the same
The first rule of Smut Club is don’t talk about Smut Club.
Now if the background was the same
THAT would be creepy xD
proly homage plagiarism ,no?
This was totally done on purpose…
Nice catch though !
probably the same costumer designer or production designer.
I always like biographical films where the real life person play an antagonist in it, Catch Me If You Can, People Vs Larry Flynt, …
genius. but what makes a brain notice/remember something so obscure? pretty spectacular observation.
I’ve never commented in any pic I saw here, in fact I’ve never clicked on any, I just scroll by them on my RSS reader, but this one is pretty freaking awesome! What a catch… Props to the filmmakers too!
That’s a REALLY nice one!
Like everyone else said, it’s a terrific catch.
Even if it is a homage, it’s pretty subtle compared to other homages of this kind (like the Y Tu Mama Tambien reference in Prisoner of Azkaban– also quite cool, but pretty obvious.)
what exactly are you referring to?
I think if you watched the film again and again you would find a lot of homages to other films they have both done – after all Tyler is Norton’s imagination…
um, and it probably helps that Ed Norton is in both pics!
very creepy
I’m no professional, but I do drive a car to the movies.
< >
I know this is a bit late, but that was a great find. I am sure the outfit was on purpose, being that Tyler was the part of Norton that he wanted to be, and who doesn’t want to be Larry Flynt (before he got shot?)
Haha! Freaky…
Eddie just gets hotter over time
He actually did something similar in Death to Smoochie, resembling American History X
“You just f*cked with the wroooong rhino”
