FIRST !
What a sad commentary on today’s society. Whoever taught this tiny child to speak like that is a horrible, horrible person.
Totally the same product, marketed to different groups.
Are you sure?
I’ve seen a lot of men (not all of them, but a lot) that qualified as pets in one way or another. They have to be fed, cleaned up after…why should grooming be any different?
Women too you know, they have to be comforted, appeased, looked after, catered to, not to mention the grooming fees are a b****… I’m that way myself.
Totally
Trim a Pet is made by (gasp) Barber Magic! They may not be exactly the same, but since they are made by the same company for essentially the same purpose, you’d expect them to be similar.
Yes- consumer reports found this one too- they called a sales rep who said they were exactly the same thing-even made on the same line. Just packaged different.
Glad someone else caught that.
and yet the pet 1 is 5 dollars cheaper
hmmmm….
And for a lot cheaper!
I like how the descriptions both say, in the first sentence. “Safe and easy to use.” Like, they didn’t even bother switching it up? Whose to say Cocoa puffs arn’t just remarketed dog food?
Because Cocoa Puffs would kill a dog due to its chocolatey nature.
Mmmh… chocolatey natured dog. Or did you actually mean “their chocolatey nature”?
np: Can – Doko E. (Anthology (Disc 2))
They don’t taste the same. Trust me.
I dunno, I’ve seen the pet food ads lately on TV…..some of the higher end pet food dishes are starting to look pretty good, at this point they’re “the human food’s run out during a zombie apocolypse” good but in a few years who knows…
thats something you don’t want to get mixed up with each other.
why not? it works the same, doesn’t it?
The hardware is the same, but the price is higher for the human version. The next time I get my kids hair cut, I’m taking them to the dog groomer to save money. I hope they like the biscuits.
I worked with a groomer, and the dog clippers and scissors are actually made by the same companies. The difference? One usually has a picture of a dog on it, and costs a lot less. However, the motor is more powerful, so it can go through the thicker hair. You can use dog clippers on a person, but not the other way around, it burns out the motor.
heh, actually… my mom used to groom poodles, and had her own Wahl clippers… and she’d also give free haircuts to all my guy friends from school. They never knew, and they probably woulda been a little indignant if they had.
Please tell your mom that is an epic WIN!
Your mom rules.
Same thing applies when talking about Dremel tools. Dremels used for home repair and the like? Perfect for dogs. Dremels used on dogs? Not so great for the home repair, as it turns out.
Ha!
Hilarious how it’s $5 more for people to use on themselves.
The five extra bucks are for the ‘magic’
tested first on humans!
Aww, you took what I came to comment.
I swear I saw something like this in a store once, only it was called Trim-A–er, kitty
I’ll buy a Trim-a-Pet for myself just because its cheaper than Barber Magic.
I like the fine print:
“Just adjust the blade for the proper length, and this precision (pet grooming) haircutting tool will trim, taper and style any length hair (just) like a pro.”
Excuse me, FailBlog is that way
Yeah, I laughed pretty hard when I first saw this, but then I looked them up separately to show my Dearest and discovered that they make no pretense about these products. If you could see the whole label on the left, it says Barber Magic right above Trim-A-Pet. Still a great TLL, but not so funny when you see the whole picture.
Umm… can we say “as seen on Leno”?
But I didn’t watch Leno. Sorry if it bores you, but I liked it.
Yeah i thought I saw this before.
Saw this in an ‘old people’ products catalog. I guess they can get away with it because the elderly have bad memory.
nice
you know.. that the trim a pet is cheaper.. might as well buy that
>.< Everybody has such wierd comments. I just wanted to say… erm.. i wanted to say.. lol?
$13 for you, or $8 for your dog!
Busted!
hemm..cheaper enough
i’ll buy one and i’ll share with my dog
Hey look! I just saved 5 dollars!
LOL! Now this is how you do a ripoff
The Trim-A-Pet is a total waste of money. I would have done better spending my money on a tuxedo for a PIG!!!!!!!! I have an eight month old Shi Tzu and this garbage did not cut his hair AT ALL, none of it. Adopt a pig and dress him in fine fabric. SAVE YOUR MONEY.
Hi,
I have a trim a pet but i do not know how to use it on my pet. i lost the box that it came with it. is there a video or instructions in your site that i can fillow?
F*ckin? remarkable things here. I?m very satisfied to see your post. Thanks so much and i’m looking ahead to contact you. Will you please drop me a mail?
Wow, your name fits you. No one bends over for you here, though, so go away.
Can’t avoid the inevitable prison comment. Just too hard to pass up.
lol
Even down there?
Most breeds of dog have fur, not hair. It’s splitting hairs (har, har – It’s 4 am, leave me alone!), but there is a difference.
Just try not to stare.
