You must be blind.

haha i thought it look familar..
“He’s a lumberjack and he’s okay,
He sleeps all night and he works all day”
I chop down trees, I eat my lunch, I go to the lavatory
I like to go out shopping and have butter scones for tea.
Soo.. They both have beards and are smiling therefore they tll each other? Not quite.
they also have mustaches, not that that makes it any better
and they’re both stiff
…yup, hell train. All aboard.
Choo choo. I lol’d.
What about early Billy Mays? Seriously though, was the late really necessary? Half the people on these things are no longer with us. Geez, I’m irritable. Sorry about that.
This site has gone to crap.
This statue is of Paul Bunyan, and is in Bangor, Maine. The statue was donated to Bangor in 1959, on Bangor’s 125th anniversary, by New York-based builders Messmoor & Damon. It was designed by local artist J. Norman Martin, who was reportedly paid $137 for his efforts. It is “reputed to be the largest statue of Paul Bunyan in the world”. The statue is 31 feet high (the Chamber of Commerce notes it on their web site as 37 ft., perhaps including the pedestal). It weighs 3,700 lbs., not including his double-sided ax and pike. Paul Bunyan’s fiberglass-over-metal frame is hurricane-proofed to withstand 110 mph winds. A time capsule is entombed in Paul’s pedestal, slated to be cracked open — perhaps with his mighty ax — on February 12, 2084.
is there a Babe?
there is, i’m pretty sure… i knew this looked familiar
Its not that fancy, exspecailly when i drive by it everyday.
Yeah, I drive by it a lot too, I lol’d when I saw it on TLL.
…it was also brought to life in Stephen King’s It!
TOO SOON!
Billy Mays died. He is dead.
thanks Captain Obvious
you’re welcome.
More importantly, by now he looks more like the crypt keeper.
Not if his undertaker embalmed him properly.
ur a lil slow
Northern Arizona University has a few of those statues, too. It’s their (our?) mascot. They call him Louie, but they should IMMEDIATELY change his name to Mr. Mays and have the costumed mascot at football games start flinging Mighty Putty at the fans.
and sprinkle them with oxy clean
close, but no cigar…i like the paul bunyan picture, though.
I met a guy once who travels around the country repairing and restoring those Paul Bunyan statues. American kitsch, but pretty cool.
You really didn’t need the “late” part
that is the paul bunyan statue from my hometown, bangor maine, several towns across the country claim bunyan as their own, the most accepted is a town in minnesota
Brainerd MN, the legend says he and his blue Oxen ( Babe) tromped around MN and made all the lakes, used to be an amusment park with MASSIVE “talking” statue, but now its a Wal-Mart
…behold…the great paul bunyan originally from brainerd, mn

Looks a lot more like Al from Home Improvement.
Oh sweet. I have always thought Billy Mays looked like Al. I’m glad I’m not the only one!
too soon
That statue TOTALLY looks like…Oh, wait. Someone pointed that out already. Nevermind.
Rates one because of poster ignorance
But that’s why we love him… ;_;
He’s a lumberjack and he’s okay
He sleeps all night and he works all day
I forget the rest of the words, but not that song is stuck in my head. ^^;
RIP Billy.
