Telefil – James was an ass. That’s something you can’t argue. But I think Snape could have laid off Ron and Hermione (I get it, she’s a smart ass, and he’s a pain in the ass, but come on, they’re kinda far away from James to be such an ass about).

Salmon – I kinda agree, but isn’t it a LITTLE hard to make Snape cute and cuddly? Although washing his hair might help…. XD And I do think JK Rowling did keep a little bit of the bastard in him, if not more. And I agree with the eyes comment.

True, true, but I am seeing the resemblance. It’s the eyes and nose, and although I think Gaddafi could use to see shampoo more often, I think Snape is unbeatable in that catagory. (icky, icky, icky hair!)

But, but…I wanted him to be evil!
I was utterly disappointed that the last three books weren’t much more than JKR’s bow to a fanbase that demanded a “cuter, cuddlier” Snape.
It would have been so much better if he had been a ba*tard through and through, and I’m sure it would have been possible.
After all, Harry had Lily’s eyes all the time, even in the very first book, when Snape was still Snape-ish.

In fact, it was left until nearly the end to reveal what side he was on. As for how he treated Harry and the Potter Conga Line, Snape genuinely dislikes them as people, and resents Harry for what James did to him (Snape) as a kid. I don’t blame him, frankly; James was an ass at Hogwart’s.
