    well… that’s the point, isn’t it?

  2. OmeletteDuFromage says:

    Homage?

  3. Queen of the World says:

That is so racist. On behalf of all anorexic, needy and stalked-in-a-creepy way love interests, I demand a public apology.

    • JTB says:

OMG I am so sick of hearing that every post is racist against ‘albinos, anorexics, skinny white girls, parody musicians” The joke is NO LONGER FUNNY… please just stop!

      • Queen of the World says:

I was NEVER going for funny. I am trying to raise public awareness for the needless pain, torment, agony and hurt caused by people all in the quest to be ‘funny’. If my campaign changes just one person’s prejudices against another humanoid, then my mission on Earth has been a successful one.

        • KinokoSama says:

I salute you, Queen of the World, and applaud your quest to end the senseless bigotry of these so-called “humorous” blogs.

        • kayrock says:

Wow, I really don’t see how this caused “needless pain, torment, agony” seeing how Olive is fictional herself.

Lay off the crack and get a life. Sheesh.

          • JTB says:

I find it hard to believe that you are not trying to be ‘funny.’ If you think this site causes so much pain and torment, well here’s a solution: STOP COMNG HERE!

            • KinokoSama says:

You’re a part of the problem JTB. So much rage.

Remove the stick from your rectum, please. Kthx

              • JTB says:

Ah, so I am considered to have an anger problem because I pointed out that the same joke, told over and over, in only slighly different contexts, gets old?And asking the teller to give up the joke because it is no longer funny the 50th time is considered rage?! /sigh. This is too trivial for my tastes.

                • KinokoSama says:

And trying to police the internet isn’t getting old?

How about this for a solution – if you don’t like the comments, YOU stop coming here.

                  • JTB says:

See, that makes no sense. I come here for the content, not the comments. All I was saying is that her so-called joke is not funny any more because we can predict what she will say EVERY SINGLE TIME. Maybe its funny to someone who comes to this site and reads it once, but I check the site daily, and I am just tired of seeing it. I thought I would have more people on my side, but I may have been wrong. Oh well. Cest la vie.

                    • KinokoSama says:

If you come here for the content and not the comments, don’t click the freaking comments link.

Thus preventing yourself from getting your panties all twisted.

                    • urwrong says:

I agree with you, it got old the second time I saw her copy-and-paste comment.
but she wants attention, so ignoring her might make it stop.

                      **don’t feed the animals**

                      • juliet2538401 says:

I totally agree! If everyone would stop getting all angry and vocal about it (which is obviously what she thrives on) then maybe she WOULD stop. Just a suggestion.

        • Purrdyflower says:

Actually, I think that the repeated posts of calling things racist is getting kind of insulting simply because it seems that it is poking too much fun at a very sensitive topic.

You are undermining your own cause, if raising public awareness truly is your campaign. Now no one will take the things you say seriously, since it would appear (regardless of your intent) that to you racism is a joke.

          • juliet2538401 says:

Kudos on that gem right there!

            • rshudson82 says:

What is a joke is all the people who cry racism for each and every little slight which is what I think she’s trying to satire. But this, right here, you guys talking about her, is what she’s after. The new Rule #1 of the Internet: The fastest and easiest way to get rid of a troll is to ignore it.

        • Deanna says:

If this is really not sarcasm…. WHY bother to scroll at these funny pages? Better go to serious fora and let us enjoy the fun.

  4. Zerozen says:

this is not totally right… It’s been many years already that the brand Moschino uses Popey and Olive Oil (as well as other pop icons) for they creations. they actually pay the proper rights to do that and this perfume was always meant to be an homage to Olive Oil. it’s not an involuntary look a like neither a fraudulent copy/inspiration. BTW Olive Oil appears in their commercials along with the right TM mention

  5. telefil says:

I’ve never even heard of this stuff, much less seen an advertisement. Is it nasty?

  6. klendathu says:

Since this website is called “Totally Looks Like”, it doesn’t matter if something is an homage, intentional, or whatever. The only thing that matters is if they “Totally Look Like” eachother.

    God.

  7. Zerozen says:

well, it might be right, but then this post it’s just not that funny.
the baseline is “Funny Look-Alikes and Doppelgangers”
otherwise it would be funny as well to show that a portrait of someone totally looks like the person portrayed or that an eiffel tower miniature totally looks alike the actual Eiffel tower.
BTW in my previous message (that has been deleted i see…) i stated that it was NOT a huge fail. nevertheless I still think this post doesn”t really fit. It is my point of view, but if you post you should accept criticism, mine is that this is not such a funny look alike.

    • wozzle says:

      I think it’s funny.
To me the fact that this container was designed to look like Olive Oyl is very funny, indeed. I want to buy it and I don’t even know if it’s contents are any good!

Hooray for Olive! We need more products that pay homage to her.

  8. Scooch says:

Well I thought it was funny :(

  9. THE TRUTH says:

Well, that explains the sponsorship that the Popeye comic had with Moschino. God forbid it does not look like what it suppose to look like. Shame when ideas are thin on a good website.

  10. Jovan says:

    Their clothes r a joke too…”cheap” 536 bucks on a blazer that was 70% off…*laughter ensues*

  11. uni says:

there is no way that was not in mind when they designed this perfume

  12. Major says:

I read in a fashion article that Moschino’s muse is Olive Oyl.

  13. DODO says:

    SHUT THE FU(% UP!

  14. DODO says:

that’s for all the ppl that love arguing
