you forgot to mention that he was originally named super jump man than renamed when the head of nintendo noticed that he resembled his land lord (mario) the reason he looks the way he does was because technology was weak so it was hard to draw a mouth so it was repaced with a mustache and hair was hard so it got replaced with a hat p.s. hellhath's commnt was ripped off from wiki notice the [1]and [2]
