As I explained 10 months ago:

“It’s not serious. It’s just that there were a lot of posts awhile back where people said they were racist because they were comparing say, two black people (which people said meant “they all look the same”), so now some people think it’s funny to say that about every single post. It was kind of funny at first, but now it annoys me almost as much as the people who post ‘first’.”

Luckily that stopped after a while, but if you look at the posts for a month or so before and after this one, you’ll find comments on almost all of them saying those were racist, too (including the one comparing two buildings).

I think Eli is hotter than Zach, although I have to admit they do look a lot alike.
There must be better pictures out there of the two of them, though. Maybe one that doesn’t have Zach sporting a stubble-going-on-beard, since I’ve never seen a picture of Eli with one of those.

Zach Quinto is my favorite movie actor and is so gorgeous. That is not the best picture I’ve seen of him though. He’s also talented, smart and interesting.
Eli Roth looks somewhat like him, I guess, and may be equally charming. I just don’t know him.
Where is the racist thing coming from? Zach is Italian/Irish. Eli may be Jewish as someone else said. I’m blue eyed and Irish but I like dark eyes and hair. How does that make me racist??

Nooooo. You missed my point entirely. It wasn’t a lack of POP CULTURE knoledge I thought they should have, just a slight awareness of the world around them. I am NOT a Star Trek fan. At all. However this new movie was so saturated into all media that I recognized him instantly. So if a guy who doesn’t know how to spell SpoCk recognized him instantly then this person is TOTALLY oblivious. I spent 3/4 of it thinking that. And then I turned to my brother and was like “Is that Zach Quinto?”
I then received a lecture on how it was Eli Roth and how dare I not know who he was. I knew who Eli Roth was (as in the fact that I could associate his name as the director of horror films), I just had no damn clue as to what he looked like.

Not my fail. Please look at the names instead of assuming that. I just saw that you were saying ZQ was Jewish, and wanted to point out that that was wrong. I believe you about Eli Roth, though. As far as whether or not they look alike, well, I already went into that in my reply to the first comment, but really, it’s a matter of opinion. I can see why somebody would say they look alike, and I can see why they wouldn’t.

Sorry. The only mention I ever heard of ZQ’s heritage was in an interview about Star Trek were the interviewer referred to him as Jewish. He was wrong. However Eli Roth is very much 100% Jewish. And regardless they look very much alike. So what ever their ethnicity, you’re fail still fails.

Yes, he’s definitely more attractive. It’s kind of strange, but whe I look at the individual features (chin, mouth, nose, etc) they mostly look pretty similar, but when I look at the whole face they look very different, and Zach looks better.

Eli Roth is a pretty popular horror director and was one of the stars of the also wildly popular Quentin Tarantino movie “Inglourious Basterds”. So basically not recognizing EITHER of them means you live under a rock. How fun to be you.
