Looking at their IMDB, I’d have to say that for the most part I have not seen their movies in the past 5 years. But most of these movies aren’t of a genre I’m even remotely interested in, so yeah.
on the contrary, i have been mixing up these ladies for years. in fact, i remember the day i realized there were two of them with different names, and my mind was blown.
both of whom remind me of Chelsea Handler…

Elizabeth Banks is a good comedic actress and has been producing films for several years.
Rachel McAdams is a rather accomplished performer and has been gaining respect as an actress in Hollywood for her willingness to NOT play the typical blonde bimbette all the time.
And they’re both in their 30s (McAdams is 30, Banks 34). They aren’t overnight sensations and they’ve not made a living selling their bodies.
If you wanna rail against “barbie dolls” go after the manufactured crap queens in Hollywood.

Talent or lack of it aside, it IS a problem that Hollywood tends to popularize this look above any other. So women of course, if they want to work in Hollywood, follow the trend. I will bet money that NEITHER of these girls is a “real” blonde. Maybe when they were three years old…

Um…Neither one is a natural blonde, and The Notebook sucked. Elizabeth Banks looks too much like Rachel McAdams for me to actually like her.
Maybe they have the same plasical surgeon. But maybe the resemblence is just because all blank shapeless faces look a bit alike.

Some friends and I were watching Catch Me If You Can, and they all SWORE it was Rachel McAdams, and I was like “You guys are blind. That is CLEARLY Elizabeth Banks. I might think it was somebody that looked KIND of like Rachel McAdams if I didn’t know who Elizabeth Banks was. But even if I didn’t, I wouldn’t think it WAS Rachel McAdams.” They still insisted it was. We IMDBed it, and I was right. Boo-yah.

i saw the title and looked at the pictures, and i was thinking the one on the right was elizabeth banks (i’m pretty familiar with both of them) then i looked at the captions and laughed at myself

Hmmmm…. nope!! I could list off all the reasons why they don’t look alike, but it would take a while. But just take moment to analyze the shape of their nose, mouth, eyebrows, and face itself, you’ll see they don’t, if you have knack for spotting similarities/dissimilarities. As an artist, I analyze they way this look for a living, so maybe my eye is just trained to see all the ways they are different. I dunno!

Wow so many jealous girls around here. Just because they are hot and beautiful and you’re not, there’s no reason get nasty and slag them off as “barbie dolls”, “plastic” and “same blond mold” blah blah blah.
Frankly you know nothing about these women and yet you stereotype them as dumb blonds, thats just sad and pathetic. Get a life I say. They have more personality than you slackers ever will. They’re both hot. Banks seems more ditzy, at least on camera, McAdams certainly not. Oh, if you saw that Sherlock Holmes movie, McAdams was in that. I’ve seen them both in movies and have NEVER thought they were the same person. Enough people think so though. Beats me as to why. They are VERY different.
