I totally get them confused and didn’t realize I was seeing two different ladies, til I saw article about banks tonight. LOL… Both beautiful and talented actresses. McAdams played in The Notebook.

They’re both hot. Banks seems more ditzy, at least on camera, McAdams certainly not. Oh, if you saw that Sherlock Holmes movie, McAdams was in that. I’ve seen them both in movies and have NEVER thought they were the same person. Enough people think so though. Beats me as to why. They are VERY different.

Wow so many jealous girls around here. Just because they are hot and beautiful and you’re not, there’s no reason get nasty and slag them off as “barbie dolls”, “plastic” and “same blond mold” blah blah blah.

Frankly you know nothing about these women and yet you stereotype them as dumb blonds, thats just sad and pathetic. Get a life I say. They have more personality than you slackers ever will. They aren’t talking nonsense about anyone but on the other hand are, and that says a lot about how much better you are than these two women.

Hmmmm…. nope!! I could list off all the reasons why they don’t look alike, but it would take a while. But just take moment to analyze the shape of their nose, mouth, eyebrows, and face itself, you’ll see they don’t, if you have knack for spotting similarities/dissimilarities. As an artist, I analyze they way this look for a living, so maybe my eye is just trained to see all the ways they are different. I dunno!

I can see a vague resemblance, but I would never be able to confuse the two. They don’t look THAT much alike.

Some friends and I were watching Catch Me If You Can, and they all SWORE it was Rachel McAdams, and I was like “You guys are blind. That is CLEARLY Elizabeth Banks. I might think it was somebody that looked KIND of like Rachel McAdams if I didn’t know who Elizabeth Banks was. But even if I didn’t, I wouldn’t think it WAS Rachel McAdams.” They still insisted it was. We IMDBed it, and I was right. Boo-yah.

I love how people assume that just because these two are both blond, they’re cut from the same “blond barbie” cookie cutter mold.

Elizabeth Banks is a good comedic actress and has been producing films for several years.

Rachel McAdams is a rather accomplished performer and has been gaining respect as an actress in Hollywood for her willingness to NOT play the typical blonde bimbette all the time.

And they’re both in their 30s (McAdams is 30, Banks 34). They aren’t overnight sensations and they’ve not made a living selling their bodies.

If you wanna rail against “barbie dolls” go after the manufactured crap queens in Hollywood.
