My younger son was born 6lb 2oz – by the time he was 3 months old he was 18lbs. His rolls had rolls. He was nursed only. Now, at 9, he’s 60lbs soaking wet – when we travel to CA he has to sit in a car seat booster, and his bones stick out all over the place. Some babies are fat. It doesn’t mean their going to always be fat – or that they are going to die from obesity or it’s complications. They are just fat babies. And they are cute.

My older son was a stick (6lbs 7oz) and stayed thin – bones poking out of skin thin – until he hit 8years old and filled out. Now he’s 5 feet tall, weighs about 95lbs.

I’ve yet to meet anyone who looks like their baby pictures as an adult.

I’ve never understood why The Michelin Man isn’t black. Have you ever seen a white tire? Were they afraid that it would have bad connotations if he was made of tires and colored as a tire?
