  3. Dawn says:

The world does not revolve around your genitalia.

  4. Jeebus Crepes says:

This is so racist (and unfunny) on behalf of blah blah blah ad nauseam and other unfunny references that failed abortion Queen of the World will make. I demand a public apology.

Do you realize you’re becoming as annoyng as QoW, but not funny nor imaginative? I mean, I loled when you first did this, but now it is always the same. Of course I think you have total right to comment this everyday, and I just jump over your comment – like I think people should do with QoW, instead of insulting her and tell her to go away…

      • Jeebus Crepes says:

No worries, I was just doing it long enough to drive the point into the ground… It may just become a protest to the lack of funny this site brings

Aren’t the penis pictures more of a failblog thing?

  7. h2opolopunk says:

That’s not a “magic mushroom” (Psilocybe cubensis) but a morel (Morchella sp.) Nice shot though.

  8. Again says:

I bet BILL KAULITZ would just LOOOOVE this mushroom, eh toholover?

  9. anonymous says:

that’s not a magical mushroom unless you think looking like a penis is magic

i’m voting it’s a stinkhorn, morels are shorter

  10. Lewk says:

Yeah, this is a stinkhorn, not a “penis mushroom”. Most hallucinogenic fungi reside in the psilcocybe genus, not the ‘om-my-godi-think-I’m-dying-because-of-the-most-horrible-diarrhea-and-stomach-cramps-I’ve-ever-had’ genus. As an amateur mycologist, I definitely frown upon anyone thinking that any ‘magical’ mushroom, particularly those that resemble male human phalluses, are replicant of the genus. Unless you are a sadomasochist via fungi. Nice try, TLL. Have it note that only 1/3,000 studied mushrooms are hallucinogenic, and only 1/13,000 of those selected for possible hallucinogenic properties are actually capable of producing such in generic consumption.

Thanks for making our research even harder.

  11. Bill Hicks says:

So, in accordance with the spirit of TLL, which is the “well-known” and which the “lookalike”…?

  12. Alexys says:

Who cares what kind of mushroom it is…?
It looks like a penis! That’s Mother Nature’s magic.

  13. CFerr. says:

This reminds me of the old joke about the nuns walking in the forest….

  14. karl says:

    ionate sex

  15. karl says:

    healthy well being

  16. Tim says:

This isn’t a Shroom! No magic in it…

  17. mingos says:

Phallus impudicus – that’s the shroom’s name in Latin. The resemblance has long been recognised;)

  18. James says:

I guess that’s why it’s called phallus impudes.

  19. Dixiemannen says:

Phallus Impudicus is indeed the correct Latin name for this mushroom, translated to English that means “Unshy male member”. Common name is English is as someone mentioned “Stinkhorn” as the fully grown mushroom gives off an odor that is VERY offensive, which also gives it its’ name in other languaes where it is often called “Corpse Mushroom” or in Danish where it is called “Prestepick” iirc. meaning “Priests pecker”. The 2 (suggestively placed) globular things growing at the base of it in the picture is in fact the earlier development stage of the ‘shroom, in some languages referred to as “Witches eggs”.

  20. nevada trust says:

now that’s a piece of art.
