Not sure what you mean by interesting word placement, but I pretty much HAVE to google my facts when it comes to, oh, say the number of friends a band I don’t have friended has.

I don’t know Christofer personally. I met him once accidentally, waiting to see Dustin since I knew him before NSN, and Chris came out and assumed I wanted a picture with him, even though I’d been talking to… whoever the drummer is… for an hour or 2, but whatever. I’m sure he’s used to people waiting hours to talk to him, and just assumed that I was one of them.

Regardless, I’m glad someone got their dream, even if I don’t consider them particularly talented. I just think its unfortunate that bands that are incredibly talented get passed over because bands with moderate talent are somehow more appealing to the masses.

Well, moreso I’ve HEARD your name at a show, though never seen it spelled out. I’m sure you can understand that, you and Christo(f/ph)er must get that a lot, misspelled names and the like.

And while we’re discussing google and whatnot, let’s do a quick google search and, Oh, look at that. Never Shout Never has 406,970 friends on myspace, and, hrm, oh looks like some of those are (some decent) bands/musicians/companies and the like. Now, while I’m aware that not everyone who’s a fan has a myspace or has friended him, but still… He’s pretty much the kid who got famous because of myspace. So I’d hardly consider him to have MILLIONS of fans, hyperbole much?

Also, in a country where a group like 3Oh!3 can have the number 1 song, I’ve learned not to trust what the majority says is “music” and good music at that. And yeah, record companies are guilty of catering to those with bad taste. Take a look at the top 40 hits and find me a REAL musician amongst any of them.

Well, can’t say his music is my cup of tea, but it’s not absolute crap.
And I don’t really like everything he’s done in the past, but he’s definitely not a douchebag.
I think everyone needs to just sort of chill out when it comes to Chris.
There’s a certain hostility from more avid music fans toward an artist who’s primary demography is kids under a certain age. But it’s not like he’s out killing kittens and puppies with his music.
So a few over enthusiastic girls jumping on the latest bandwagon like him. Doesn’t mean he’s the worst thing to happen to music since Nickleback by any means. Not even close. We should actually probably spend some time bashing them instead after this. But regardless of where he falls on the scale between Coldplay and Creed, people should probably know he’s just a pretty genuinely nice kid writing music and doing well for himself.

Okay, Allison Jenkins, so nice of you to rush to the rescue of your boyfran. Regardless, Kuzco is right. His music really is horrible and maybe he doesn’t autotune but he should. It could improve his vocal quality. And that doesn’t change the fact that the music is pathetically talentless.
