When I first saw Susan Boyle and the overwhelming response she got after her first performance (deserved), I thought “someone is going to make a film on her life”. My next thought was, “Brenda Fricker would be ideal for the role”. Seems good to know I’m not the only one who thought they resembled.

FYI, if you want to know the bird lady actor’s name, it’s Brenda Fricker and she won an oscar for ‘My left Foot’ playing the mother.

She came to prominence playing Meg, a downtrodden nurse in ‘Casualty’ here in Britain.

And I don’t think they look at all alike. But there you go.
