The dancing trouts prefer lemon pies on their livers.
cool. they must be relatives
sry. got ma words mixed up there. 0-0
So.. The koreans invented pepsi?
yeh as far as I know,
the pepsi company was looking for a good name
to name their product and one guy came up with
‘pepsi’ because it sounds kind of like pep~s~i~
when you open the drink. Others thought it was
a great name so they were planning to pay the
guy but he refused and instead required them to
use that logo because he was Korean.
Isn’t it interesting ???????
pepsi is named like that because one of the principal chemicals that give it that flavor has on its name the word pepsi at the beggining lol
A boy I used to babysit always called Korea “the Pepsi country”. It annoyed his green-granola-all organic-socialist-anticonsumerist parents to no end, and I thought that was hilarious.
That is funny and I hoped the kid grew up to be normal, even under such a weird influence
i knew it obama is a communist
Actually, both look like the Flag of South Korea, which again totally looks like the Yin and Yang Symbol…
on the Korean airline is even a small s. korean flag do you think that’s conspiracy of obama?
ha ha…
I think it just delusion of grandeur.
Does this mean Korean Airlines make ya burp, too?
I really hate it when people put the pictures the wrong way round, Korean Airlines was made 59 years after Pepsi, plus that’s the old logo.
Why does the order matter? If X looks like Y, doesn’t the distributive property say that Y looks like X?
And the old logo totally looks like the Korean Air logo. The new logo only kind of looks like it.
Actually the commutative property, but you’re absolutely right.
I really hate it when idiots get their stockings in a bunch because of the left-right order of pictures on this site. “looks like” does not imply relative age/significance.
they both look the same, does it really matter which one was first?
Well, the Korean Airline logo is obviously a Taegeuk (yin yang), a national symbol of S. Korea, which came before Pepsi…
So technically the order is right. *Shrug*
Korean flag made 16 years before Pepsi.
listen, logo of korean air comes from Taeguk mark which is a korean national emblem. Taeguk mark carries history of thousands of years goes way back before any north american countries were estabilished.
The Korean Air logo looks like a drunk Pepsi logo o.O
I don’t know what came first, Korea or Pepsi? xDDDD…..
this Korean Air’s logo was introduced in 1984 and, according to the brand, expresses a sense of dynamic power. As for Pepsi, the shown logo is not the latest brand’s logo. A new one was introduced in 2008 and means a full smile.
um… more like Korean Airline logo looks like the taegeuk (Ying/Yang symbol) off of the Korean flag. (strange that eh?)
so called “old” Pepsi logo looks like Korean taegeuk
also I can personally attest that the Pepsi logo still looks pretty much exactly like that in Australia, NZ, Singapore and Hong Kong (and apparently everywhere else in the world other than the US and Canada)
korean flag which is above the korean airline logo was made in 1882.
korean airline logo was modeled on korean flag
July rock good.
I don’t really understand how companies can get away with things like this. The logo is obviously very similar.
LOL
In Korea, Pepsi is a zen device.
umm…I am korean..
And I am 13years old..
하하=ha ha
But..korean’s flag is very..divine nature..
LOL I love pepsi(?) too,
But I don’t like compare my country’s flag
Chill out! It’s nothing to get serious about. They’re not comparing the Pepsi logo to the Korean flag. 외국 나가도 대한항공 로고가 펩시 로고 닮았다는 소리는 많이 듣는걸요. 그다지 심각해 할 필요는 없을 듯.
Right.
Korean airline logo is modeled on Korean flag.
This mark is Teaguk.
It’s symbolize yin and yang.
In Korean society, a great deal of importance is balance and community spirit.
HAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAH
i’m korean too, but i have to admit it’s pretty funny.
the logos have nothing in common. They just look alike but they express different things. If they were in the same business..i think it could be a problem.
펩시로고 저거 펩시에서 로고 공모전에 한인이 응모해서 된거라고 말좀.
비록 루머지만.
I’ve had that in mind every year since 1999 at Changi Airport.
So which one is owned by the other?
This made me laugh! During a trip to Korea, we e-mailed some pictures back to my family–my young nephew wrote back to ask why there were so many Pepsi symbols all over Korea. Obviously, we set him straight.
pula’n cur si bani de drum
Walter vs. Obama? I’d vote for Walter, he’s smarter.
More looks like yin and yang with white in the middle
