Cultural references to the chicken and egg intend to point out the futility of identifying the first case of a circular cause and consequence. It could be considered that in this approach lies the most fundamental nature of the question. A literal answer is somewhat obvious, as opposed to the logical fallacy of the metaphorical view, which sets a metaphysical ground on the dilemma. So, to understand its metaphorical meaning better, it could be reformulated as follows: “Which came first, X that can’t come without Y, or Y that can’t come without X?”

In Ancient Times, Archimedes wanted to create the ultimate battle machine, so he started construction on a structure more amazing than even the Trojan Horse from the Illiad. However, a strange man in a black hood threathened to sue Archimedes for stealing an idea already patented a long time ago in a place far, far away.

as i am greek and live in athens I assure you, no manipulation as far as the ancinet greek remains are concerned. and i do not find any similarities between the photographs being very familiar with that certain spot. just succesful due to the angle.
