not only was this a crazy lookalike, but what about the farm boy flying over the fields of wheat during the same opening ceremony? i thought, why are they doing scenes from Superman Returns?

My god….I *so* fail at being a comic book nerd. The Christopher Reeve Superfilms (well, the first two, anyway) are among my favorite films, and I never made the connection until just now. *hangs head in shame*
