I am eating nori now. Nom nom. I wonder who the dress is by?
If you made a dress out of toasted nori, you would have to be careful not to get it wet.

The dress is by Balmain, worn by Sienna Miller. I’ll post a link in a followup so this message doesn’t wind up in moderation limbo.

OK, for some reason the moderator has apparently decide to disapprove my post with the link to a page showing a photograph of a model wearing that dress as part of the Balmain Spring 2010 collection and another of Sienna Miller at the opening of “After Miss Julie”. If you want to see it, just Google on “runway to after miss julie” (in quotes).

Nori rocks. A nice onigiri–fish or sour plum or whatever, surrounded by soft rice, wrapped in seaweed–is delicious. Jingoist knotheads need to broaden their horizons instead of their arses.

It looks like a cat used the dress to sharpen its claws on lol.

This is perhaps a Project Runway recycling challenge? There is something to be said for being inspired by nature when creating art, but this is too literal and, sadly, does not even look flattering on the person. I wonder sometimes if the stylists are just trying to promote a designer rather than make their client look good.
