Just because your series has a lot of installments, that doesn’t mean it’s a saga.

  2. crystopheles says:

unfortunately they are doing this with alot of books now! I’ve noticed more and more novel series having the same/similar covers as the crappy twilight books.

Which book came out first, “Frostbitten” or “Twilight: BD”? It might be the complete opposite, Stephenie Meyer might have been copying the other book’s cover.

Stephenie Meyer stole every romance comedy’s plot for her books, so I wouldn’t doubt that she’d copy a cover too.
    TWILIGHT PLOT:
A guy falls in love with a girl, the girl falls in love with the guy, then a 3rd guy falls in love with the girl, and the girl is torn between the 2. In the end, she ends up selecting the original guy
    YOUR USUAL ROMANCE COMEDY:
A guy falls in love with a girl, the girl falls in love with the guy, then a 3rd guy falls in love with the girl, and the girl is torn between the 2. In the end, she ends up selecting the original guy.

The only difference is that romance comedies are much easier to watch/read and the acting is way better, which is sad…

Pretty sure Frostbitten came out first, Kelley Armstrong has been writing great books for much longer than Stephenie Meyer has been writing.

  4. Stacy says:

Eclipse came out in August of 2007, and is a picture of a broken ribbon. Frostbitten came out in September of 2009 and is a picture of a stream of blood.

  5. Xenon says:

That’s totally what I thought when I saw Frostbitten at Borders!

  6. sophie says:

Wow this version is really different to the english cover of frostbitten. Ours is blue with a wolf in a circle

  7. lolwut says:

They look a little similar, but Frostbitten does not totally look like the Twilight book.

  8. Cassandra says:

Well to be fair, Kelley Armstrong’s books are being republished to all have black covers with an object on the front so the books in her series appear uniform, so there was bound to be similarites–it’s not like any of the Twilight books have diverse or very original covers. Besides, Armstrong has been writing and getting her books published long before Meyer ever even wrote a book.

  9. Tracy-Lee says:

The covers might look the same, but I personally thought Frostbitten was much better than Eclipse.

  10. MissMcKnight says:

proud to say, friends with Kelley Armstrongs daughter and that she still lives in the same town as me :)

  11. Synne says:

I showed these 2 books to my boyfriend a few weeks ago and he laughed at me and said they looked nothing alike. Well HA to you!

  12. Mike says:

Interesting! I hope that everyone’s Saturday is going great!

  13. Selky says:

Believe it or not, but most authors have absolutely no choice in what the cover of their book looks like. Sometime their publisher will give them a few choices to choose from, but most often the company picks the cover. The publishing company probably made that cover to match Eclipse since it is very popular right now.

  14. The Twilight “saga” is a total rip off of every forbidden love story on the planet
