      Before you stands a pair of twins. One was born mere seconds before the other. How can you tell which one is the elder? Easy!

      Since only the one that came after can look like the one that came before, simply identify the one that looks like the other, and you have located the younger. By process of elimination, the other one is the elder. You can confirm this by noting that the elder does not look like the younger.
